Dr AP Jayaraman was a career nuclear scientist for four decades and had a concurrent career in science communication from 1970 with the People’s Science Movements in India. He is the Chairman of the National Centre for Science Communicators (India) and the President of STEAM Academy. He has been contributing popular science articles, authoring science books and conducting science discourses since 1970 and full time after his retirement in 2004.
