We invite financial members of the PCST network to self-nominate for election to the Scientific Committee.

Fifteen members (half of the total Scientific Committee) will be elected for four years:
- Europe (four members)
- Africa and the Americas (four members)
- Asia, Australasia and the rest of the World (four members)
- Candidates under 35 years from any country (two members)
- Student representative (one member for a 2-year term)
Before nominating for a seat on the Scientific Committee, members should have read the PCST Network’s Constitution and the Scientific Committee Members’ Commitment, and should they be elected, be available to join the newly formed (ideally in person or via Zoom) Committee in Aberdeen, on Friday, 30 May 2025 from 09:30 to 11:00.
Committee Members make decisions about the direction of the PCST Network, take an active role in the managing of the association’s activities such as sit on subcommittees, run webinars, and so, and are expected to attend the biennial conferences and chair sessions.
Members will publicise PCST events in their own communities and countries, and there may be opportunities to represent PCST at other conferences and events.
Nominations are open in the Members area of the PCST website from 28 March until 22 April 2025. All nominations will be displayed on the PCST Network website.
Voting opens in the Members area of the PCST website on 14 May 2025, at 12:00 UTC and closes on 28 May 2025, at 12:00 UTC.
Results will be announced at the end of the PCST 2025 conference on 29 May and through an email to PCST members and/or the PCST Discussion List.
