Shortlist for the PCST Award announced

The PCST award jury is delighted to announce the shortlist for the Award for the advancement of science communication as a professional field (PCST Award).

The winners will be announced at the PCST conference in Aberdeen (27-29 May 2025). Out of a stellar field of colleagues in science communication, there are 6 shortlisted candidates.

Applications were reviewed on the following criteria:

  • efforts that support the professional development of science communicators and build science communication infrastructure;
  • efforts that increase the prestige of the profession of science communicator and raise public awareness of its importance;
  • efforts that support the professional culture of science communication.

This award has been generously supported by the GIST Graduate School of AI Policy and Strategy.

In Aberdeen, the top winner will be awarded a cash prize of 1,500 USD. The second and the third place will be awarded a cash prize of 700 USD each.

Thank you to all who were nominated, as it was an amazing field of candidates. Congratulations to the six shortlisted individuals. We look forward to the announcement of the winners in Aberdeen.
