With rapid development of information technology and internet, human beings have stepped into network economic age, multimedia information has become one of the major carriers that people capture information. New media of science popularization include digital content product and physical goods, the main features of them are digitized, networked, virtualized and media crossed. New media of science popularization could convert the abstract scientific knowledge into specific, sensible, manageable and interactive product.
What kind of opportunities will the high-speed Internet bring to the production of new media of science popularization? How can we understand production of digital media? How can we make digital media industry improve science communication development?
In this paper we will try to answer these problem through case analysis and field research. We hope we can find the problem of production of new media of science popularization and present some solutions. Thus we could provide new thinking to develop the science communication effect under the environment of internet.
