Sook-kyoung obtained the first PhD on science popularisation in Korea and the United Kingdom, and has worked in science communication for non-profit governmental organisations for 20 years. She has experience in science communication using media such as newspapers, radio and television. In 2006, she played an important role in hosting and organising the 9th PCST conference in Seoul.
