Webinar: Running a successful small business in science communication

Webinar date: 26 February 2026

Following the success of a special session on running a science communication business at the PCST 2025 conference in Aberdeen, the PCST Network decided to host a dedicated webinar and speed networking session on this topic, held on Thursday, 26 February 2026.

The session brought together aspiring and established science communication professionals for an open and engaging discussion about what it really takes to run a small business in this field. Rather than formal presentations, the event focused on meaningful interaction, beginning with brief introductions before moving into an insightful 40 minute Q and A. Participants then connected more personally during a 40 minute speed networking segment, creating space for valuable conversations, shared experiences, and new collaborations.

Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to such a dynamic and supportive session.
