I am Anfan Chen, a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Communication, Hong Kong Baptist University. My research focuses on science communication, computational social science, and political communication, with a particular emphasis on misinformation, public health communication, and AI-driven engagement. I have published over 30 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals such as Science Communication and Public Understanding of Science. My work bridges academic insights with practical solutions, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and inclusive communication strategies. My research has been applied globally to address challenges in public health and AI communication. As a member of the PCST Network, I am dedicated to advancing science communication through innovation and global partnerships. If elected to the Scientific Committee, I aim to contribute my expertise in data analytics and cross-cultural communication to support PCST’s mission, ensuring its activities remain impactful and accessible worldwide.
