Hao Xin is a prominent social entrepreneur and leader in Zhejiang Province, known for his 25-year dedication to environmental and social causes. As co-founder of “Green Zhejiang”—China’s first 5A-level environmental NGO—and the 2023 co-founder of the Zhejiang Provincial Federation for Science Popularization, he has driven initiatives like waste management, rural revitalization, and water conservation. His projects, including “Little River Chiefs” and “Same Qiantang River,” have earned international recognition, such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Education Award and the China Youth Volunteer Service Gold Award. Hao has also been honored with distinctions like the China Youth May Fourth Medal and Global Water Hero. His efforts span global stages, including UN climate conferences, where he shares China’s sustainability stories. With over 1,200 lectures reaching 35 million people, Hao bridges ecological awareness, social innovation, and community development.
