Farewell from Conference 2020+1

6 June 2021

Thanks to sponsors, speakers, registrants and the technical team.  What now?

Thank you for your participation in PCST 2020+1 – whether you were joining us as a delegate, speaker, chair, keynote, committee member, organiser or all of the above!  It has been great to see so many embrace the virtual conference and engage throughout the week.

Thanks also go to the Technical Team from Venue AV who helped the speakers and chairs in the background – making sure everything ran smoothly and dealing with many last-minute requests.

We’d also like to take the opportunity to thank the Conference Sponsors (Wellcome, The Kavli Foundation and Amiculum) and Supporters (Visit Scotland) for partnering with PCST 2020 and then PCST 2020+1 – the conference wouldn’t have been the same without you all!

What now?

We hope that you have enjoyed the live conference – and remind you that you have access to the recorded sessions to ‘catch-up’ on things that you missed.  All the recorded sessions and visual display presentations will be available post conference for one year – until June 2022.  Use your existing login details to access the Conference Portal and click on the catch-up area on the landing page.

The networking area of site will unfortunately not be available post conference, but you can still keep in touch by following us on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn – please use the hashtag #pcst2021 when mentioning the conference.  You can also join the PCST Mailing List – that way you’ll always be up to date with all PCST news.

Conference Evaluation

We particularly wanted to find out you thought of this year’s conference, and invited all participants to complete the conference evaluation.   You told us what you loved – but also what we could do better.  The evaluation is now closed, and results will be published soon.

Publication

If you interested in getting your work you presented at the conference published, you are invited to submit manuscripts to the journal Research for All.   The thematic feature will span the professional, cultural, international, and disciplinary interests represented at PCST 2020 +1.  We particularly welcome papers by a combination of authors writing together from academia, practice, public services, industry, or other communities.  The deadline for submissions is 17 June 2021.

We hope you enjoyed PCST 2020+1 and hope to see you in Rotterdam in 2023.
