I’m an associate professor in Science Communication at the University of Twente. My research focuses on understanding the changing science-society relationship. Key words: public engagement, science communication, science journalism, risk communication, emerging technologies, and responsible research and innovation. I’m leading the Research Centre for Science Communication and Engagement and I’m editor for the book series World Scientific Series on Science Communication.
