Bernard Schiele, PhD, is Researcher at the IRCST, and Professor of Communication at the Faculty of Communication at UQAM, Canada. He is a founding member of the PCST network and organised the 1994 PCST conference in Montreal, Canada. His recent publications include: ‘Science communication today’ (CNRS 2012) (co-edited), ‘Science communication in the world’ (Springer 2012) (co-edited); ‘Communicating science in social contexts’ (Springer 2008). He received the 2012 ICOM Canada International Achievement Award.
