I am the Stuart Professor of Science Communication at the University of Otago in New Zealand. I am the current Vice President of PCST, a member of the Scientific Committee, and was the Chairperson for PCST 2018. I have written over 150 refereed publications, 10 books popularising science, and produced award-winning science documentaries. My research examines communication in online videos, social media, and national parks with the aim of developing better frameworks for science communication.
