Dr Marina Joubert is a senior science communication researcher at Stellenbosch University in South Africa where she has spearheaded science communication teaching and research in the country. Her research interests focus on scientists’ role in the public communication of science, as well as building bridges between science communication research and practice, with a special focus on the challenges and opportunities in developing countries.
