Science Communication Education and Training: Challenges and Strategies for Research and Academic Institutions

Early bird registration for the PCST Venice Symposium has been extended to 20 April 2023. The Programme is also now available.

The PCST Venice Symposium intends to address current challenges that academic and research institutions face with respect to public communication and public engagement.

Hosted by Venice International University (VIU), a leading international network of universities, the PCST Venice Symposium puts together, on the one hand, the expectations and needs of academic institutions in the area of science communication, and on the other hand, the theoretical and empirical knowledge of the PCST community along with practical experience.

The Symposium emphasises interactivity. Presentation formats will include plenary sessions sparked by invited conversations, roundtables, working sessions for sharing and discussing practices and experiences among institutions.

Early Bird: extended until 20 April 2023
Participants from VIU and PCST members: € 250 incl. VAT
Participants from other institutions: € 330 incl. VAT

Rolling Registrations: until 1 June 2023
Participants from VIU and PCST members: € 280 incl. VAT
