25 August 2022
I’m pleased to announce that we will be supporting the attendance of people from lower-income countries at the PCST Conference in Rotterdam in April next year. A list of eligible countries can be found below.
About ten people will be awarded funding to support their attendance, which may include registration, travel and accommodation.
Applicants will be chosen from people whose proposal to speak at the conference has been accepted: a paper, a roundtable discussion or in any other format.
They may also be invited to take part in an extra session, a roundtable conversation on the challenge of communicating science in lower-income countries.
The first step for anyone interested in this programme is to make a proposal to speak at the conference. Proposals are due on 14 September 2022 and all details are on the PCST website.
Preliminary announcement of successful proposals will be made by 30 November this year and people from eligible countries and with an accepted proposal will be invited to apply for support.
We are grateful to the Kavli Foundation for their generous donation to make this programme possible.
