PCST Venice Symposium 2023 – Call for presentations

2 November 2022

Science Communication Education and Training: Challenges and Strategies for Research and Academic Institutions

28-30 September 2023
Venice International University, Island of San Servolo, Venice

The PCST Venice Symposium intends to address current challenges that academic and research institutions face with respect to public communication and public engagement.

Hosted by Venice International University (VIU), a leading international network of universities, the PCST Venice Symposium puts together, on the one hand, the expectations and needs of academic institutions in the area of science communication, and on the other hand, the theoretical and empirical knowledge of the PCST community along with practical experience.

A call for presentations is open to scholars, practitioners and organisations to present good practices and experiences on science communication education and training. The call closes 28 February 2023.

The PCST Venice Symposium is thematic and regional in its scope in line with PCST Symposia, but contributions from all over the world are welcome.

The Symposium emphasises interactivity. Presentation formats will include plenary sessions sparked by invited conversations, roundtables, working sessions for sharing and discussing practices and experiences among institutions.
