PCST Member Forum: Supporting Inclusive and Participatory Science Communication in the Face of Challenges

Webinar date: 19 March 2025 | 17:00 CET

Recent shifts in rhetoric, policies and business practices surrounding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are challenging the ability of scholars, practitioners, and educators to advance inclusive and participatory science communication. While the impacts of these recent developments will be felt more acutely in some regions and contexts than others, they raise broader questions about how the field of science communication can continue to advance inclusion, equity, and diversity when these fundamental principles are under threat.

This Member Forum provides a space for members of the PCST Network to come together and discuss these recent developments, consider their implications for the field, and brainstorm possible strategies for mitigating their effects. We welcome members from across our global network to participate in the conversation.

Note: To protect our members, this session will not be recorded and participant names or identifying information will not be shared publicly.

PCST is an independent network and receives no government-related funding from any source.
