Gultekin Cakmakci elected life member

Gultekin Cakmakci has been elected a life member of the PCST Network.  PCST President Brian Trench said that Gultekin did an outstanding job in difficult circumstances as Chair of the Local Organising Committee for the PCST Conference in Istanbul.

Gultekin joins 12 other life members, all elected in recognition of their contribution to the PCST network. They were the lead organisers of PCST conferences or individuals who rendered exceptional service to the network.

They played a leading role in establishing the network as principal organisers of the PCST conferences over the past 27 years. The PCST Scientific Committee awarded life membership to these individuals “in recognition of your outstanding contribution to our community, in particular your role in the organisation of a PCST conference”.
