PCST denounces the Putin-led invasion of Ukraine

21 March 2022

PCST joins scientific societies, universities, media organisations and other cultural associations around the world in denouncing the Putin-led invasion of Ukraine.

The PCST Network joins scientific societies, universities, media organisations and other cultural associations around the world in denouncing the Putin-led invasion of Ukraine, which is causing countless deaths, injuries and displacements of people.

We salute the bravery of those who are resisting this aggression and who are providing medical and other humanitarian aid under terrible circumstances.

The PCST Network is a global organisation that aims to advance the theory and practice of science communication through international meetings, exchanges, conferences and publications. We stand in solidarity with our colleagues in Ukraine and those being oppressed and silenced in Russia.

We also recognise that other parts of the world have been and continue to be affected by war and injustices.

We call on members of our international science communication community to practically help any colleagues who are facing military assault or being politically repressed.
