PCST Mexico Symposium

10-12 April 2024, Zacatecas, Mexico

Widening the spectrum of discussion: new voices and new knowledge

The International Symposium on Public Communication of Science and Technology 2024 and the IX National Colloquium on Science Recreation focused on exploring and promoting effective communication strategies that brought science and technology closer to all people, especially sectors that traditionally had not had a voice in discussions.

From 10 to 12 April 2024, participants had the privilege of listening to leading experts from different parts of the world, who shared their experiences, research, and reflections on the public communication of science and technology. In addition, the event provided a unique platform to establish collaboration networks and strengthen links between scientific communication professionals. It was a valuable opportunity to meet colleagues from different disciplines, exchange ideas, and generate strategic alliances that further promoted science outreach in Mexico, Latin America, and the world.
