Webinar: An inclusive history of science communication

Webinar date: 26 October 2021

An inclusive history of science communication is the topic of a Lifeology flashcard course that takes us on a journey back in time to explore how science was shared and discussed around the world.

In this webinar, Lifeology co-founder Paige Jarreau, talks about the motivation behind this novel science communication platform, while the course author Siddharth Kankaria and illustrator Argha Manna talks about the importance of diverse perspectives on how science communication evolved around the world.

Science historian Bruce Lewenstein adds his views about the nature and process of science and adds critical reflections on how we teach science communication history.

The discussion was facilitated by Marina Joubert, science communication researcher, South Africa.
